For those that didn’t attend the Seminar on 12th June 2008 you missed out on a very special occasion…Master White was presented with his 5th Dan by Master Perks. We all know the hard work and dedication he has put into DTSD, without this type of commitment from Master White, and others giving their continued support, Dragon Tang Soo Do would not be able to continue to go from strength to strength. We would therefore like to thank him, and congratulate him on this well deserved achievement. ...more

Congratulations to Spud Hopper, Julie Small, Lauren Small, Sarah Parker and Rhys Coghlan on obtaining their 2nd Dans! "The panel" are definately getting trickier in devising mind boggling combinations and original formats for each grading, in this case the warm up. It gets you thinking "what are they going to come up with next?" You can't say the gradings are predictable!! Well done to all of you on a very impressive grading.

It’s something that many people aspire to, to be able to state with pride “I’m a martial arts Black Belt” and to know that very few get to that level of achievement, or even harder, retain the level and progress further. There is a huge misunderstanding though, primarily through those not involved in the Martial Arts, however even more bizarrely, from those who are involved in Martial Arts, as to what it really means ...more

The great thing about bowling is no matter whom you're with, you cheer when you do well, and laugh when you don't! It's a great way to spend time relaxing with friends. It really doesn't matter if you win or lose - It's all about enjoying yourself, and having fun. Well that's what it says on the brochure… whoever wrote that doesn't know the competitive spirit of these guys! ...more

To all the students who graded on Saturday 2nd February 2008. Congratulations on your new belt promotions!
Special mention must go to the White and Orange belts who took part in this grading. The standard was very good, with both groups putting in lots of effort, spirit and determination, which is what we like to see! Remember as you go up the ranks we expect to see better techniques and more spirit. However do not substitute power , to lose precision on techniques.
Senior Belts - remember to constantly practise techniques already learnt. You never know when you might need them.
